Kretchman Coaching Award
Tom received his B.S. in physical education health composite/teaching in 1974. He was a member of the men’s basketball team from 1972-1974. Currently Tom is a social science teacher and the head track coach with the Miller School District. Since leaving Northern State, Tom has earned numerous awards for coaching cross country and track and field. He also served as the region director for the S.D. Basketball Coaches Association, the South Dakota Cross Country and Track & Field Coaches Association region three director, vice president and president. Tom just finished his 36 year of coaching.
