Northern State Athletics Hall of Fame
Tanna received her B.S. in Business Administration Finance/Accounting in 1990. She participated in basketball and track while at Northern. When Tanna’s career at Northern ended she ranked in the top 20 all time in several basketball categories including career points and career rebounds.
In basketball Tanna was a 2 time All-Conference player, made the NAIA All District (12) team, was a 2 time team captain and lettered all 4 years. The women’s basketball team either won or was runner up in the conference all 4 years Tanna played. Tanna competed in only 1 year of track and field (due to a knee injury) winning the District (12) 100 meter hurdles.
