Northern State Athletics Hall of Fame
Rollie N. Greeno was an outstanding athlete at Northern State College. He received his bachelor of science degree in education in 1950 and his masters degree in 1955. While at Northern, Greeno established a reputation as an athlete of exception ability. He was a 12-letterman lettering four years in basketball, track, and football.
Throughout his coaching career, Greeno has received many special honors. In 1958, he was named South Dakota High School Coach of the Year. In 1966, he was named North Dakota Coach of the Year. He was honored as the District 12 NAIA Football Coach of the Year in 1968, and District 12 NAIA Track Foach of the Year in 1972.
Greeno married Bernice Storley and they have four children.
