This event is exclusively for Wolves Club members. Join us under the Wolves Club tent at the south end of the Premier Tailgate Lot under the Wolves Club tent for Food, Drinks, and Football. Sponsored by Cash-Wa Distributing.

October 10-12, 2025

Wolves Club members are invited to a weekend of festivities celebrating volleyball, soccer, and football from the Northern State home facilities. 

Wolves Club Appreciation Weekend Event Schedule:

Friday, October 10 prior to Volleyball vs. Duluth

• Social from 5-6pm in the balcony area of Wachs Arena
• Food & beverages provided

Saturday, October 11 prior to Football vs. Duluth

• Tailgate from 4-5:30pm under the white Wolves Club tents
• Food & beverages provided

Sunday, October 12 prior to Soccer vs. Southwest Minnesota State

• Social from 12:30—1pm in the Soccer Pavilion conference room (top of the stairs, overlooking the field and stands)
• Culver’s custard provided

WOLVES CLUB APPRECIATION NIGHT 

Kessler's Champions Club Room

Join the Northern State Wolves Club for an appreciation night during basketball season. Enjoy complimentary appetizers and hear from Northern State administrators and coaches prior to tip-off. 

April 25, 2025 | Dacotah Bank Stadium 

The event will feature 13 pour stations, seven snack stations, and five game stations, as well as a silent auction. Participants will tour NSU’s Barnett Center and Dacotah Bank Stadium while visiting the various stations to sample an extensive selection of beers, wines, and specialty cocktails, while the bourbon tasting will take place at the NSU Speakeasy. Northern State coaches, staff, and student-athletes will be in attendance, welcoming guests to this one-of-a-kind inaugural event. Full drink selections, event maps, and a full event schedule will be released on the Bourbon & Brews homepage leading up to the event. All guests must be 21 or older to attend NSU's Bourbon & Brews. Guests will be required to provide proof of age with a valid photo ID.

May 30-31, 2025 | Walth's Bay | New Evarts Resort

Hosted by New Evarts Resort (Glenham, SD) the Wolves on the Water (WOW) Walleye Tournament is the Wolves Club's largest athletic special event. Started in the mid 1980's to help raise funds for athletic scholarships, WOW has grown to become one of the largest fishing tournaments on the Missouri River. The 3-person tournament is limited to the first 140 teams and is held annually. Entry to the tournament includes seven hours of fishing, steak dinner, and entry into the big fish and rough fish contests.

July 25, 2025 | Lee Park Golf Course

The NSU Wolves Club will host the seventh annual NSU Golf Classic sponsored by Schwan Financial Group on July 25th during the summer of 2025 at Lee Park Golf Course, replacing the Wachs Golf Classic. This 4-person scramble is limited to the first 36 teams. The NSU Golf Classic features, hole games, on-course pin prizes, raffles, silent auctions and much more! The NSU Golf Classic is open to everyone, so come help us make it a special event!

Cost is $600 per team with hole sponsorships available for $200. Team registration and hole sponsorships can both be done through the online form linked below.

Koehler Hall of Fame Field

Join the Northern State softball team for the annual Homerun Derby and take a crack at hitting a long ball (or two). Each homerun earns the hitter a chance to win one of numerous prize options. Not interested in hitting yourself?! No problem! Participants can sponsor a Northern State softball hitter to rope one out in their place. CLICK HERE for full details and registration. 

April 2-3, 2025 | Virtual Giving Event

This 24-hour challenge is designed to inspire supporters of Northern to come together as we work to provide essential funding to areas across the University. Also known as #OneDayOnePack, the event’s goal is to receive support from 2,500 donors in 24 hours. CLICK HERE to visit the Give N Day homepage. 

June 6, 2025 | Lee Park Golf Course

The annual Wolves Football Golf Tournament is open to alumni and friends of the program and fills up fast each year. The 4-person scramble style tournament includes 18-holes of golf, cart, food, beverages, 2 mulligans per player, and skins game. Both a silent and live auction takes places as well throughout the day. In addition, hole sponsorships are available for $250. Hole sponsors will be recognized with a personalized sign on a select tee box.

August 8, 2025 | Rolling Hills Golf Course

The Wrestling Golf Outing is hosted in August each year from Rolling Hills Golf Course. In addition to the golf play, the tournament features an online silent auction, reverse hat raffle, and meal on the course. Cost for the tournament is $125 per person ($500 per team) with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and registration at 8 a.m.

September 12, 2025 | Lee Park Golf Course

The 4-person scramble style tournament takes place each fall. Cost of the outing is $125 per golfer ($500 per team), which includes a meal on the course, drink tickets, and a cart. Hole sponsorships are also available ($125). Registration kicks off at 10 am with a shotgun start at 11 am from Lee Park Golf Course. In addition, game passes are available for $100 per team.

November 14, 2025 | Dakota Event Center

Scholarship support is a top priority for Northern State University. Northern Night has helped raise more than $2.5 million for student scholarships over the years. Aberdeen Gun Club | Supporting Swim & Dive and Soccer

The Northern State University swimming and diving and soccer teams will host the Trap Shoot tournament which features both team and individual options. The team competition is $500 for each 4-person team, which includes 50 clays per person. Individuals are able to add-on a skeet-shoot competition for a $50 fee. The winning team will take home a $500 prize, while the top individual performers will be awarded prizes. Food and beverage will be provided the day of the event. The individual add-ons requires a minimum of five participants. All proceeds will go directly to the swimming and diving and soccer programs.
