Northern State Athletics Hall of Fame
Frank Sieh attended Northern Normal and Industrial School in 1910 and received his L.L.B. from St. Louis University in 1913.
Sieh was the originator of American Legion Baseball. The program was established in 1925 with approximately 90 boys participating, growing to include thousands in recent years.
He served in the Department of Americanism Office of South Dakota from 1919-1926, and as a member of the National Americanism Commission in 1926. Sieh also served as Brown County states attorney from 1932-1936, a distinction in that he was the first Democrat to hold that office.
