Jerry Parkinson was a two-time South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference champion and a four-year starter for the Northern State wrestling team during his career from 1972-76.  Parkinson qualified for the national tournament all four years, collecting more than 22 wins each year with the Wolves.  Parkinson was selected as the team MVP in the 1974-75 season, earned the "most dedicated" award in his junior and senior years and was a co-captain in 1975-76.  He was listed as an "Outstanding College Athlete of America" and was named to the all-time NSU wrestling team in 1994. 

Jerry and his wife, Debra, have two children.
