Jay Kusler, B.S. ‘93 in Accounting
Jay Kusler earned his B.S. in accounting from NSU in 1993, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1994. As a member of the men’s basketball and baseball teams from 1989-1993 he was an All-American Scholar Athlete in 1992-93, received the NAIA District 12 Emil S. Liston Award in ’92 and the NSIC Britton Award in ’93, was NSU Male Athlete of the Year in ’93 and was All Conference in baseball in ’92. He and his teammates earned the NSIC championship in basketball and baseball in 1993 and the NAIA division II runner up in the ’93 national tournament. The basketball team also made three national tournament appearances in 1990, ’91 and ’93 and held a 34-2 record in ‘93. Jay is the business manager at Climate Control, Inc. in Aberdeen, SD. He and his wife Connie have four children: Brianna, Brandon, Brooklyn and Braxton.
