Northern State University Athletics

Gerald Sayler received his bachelor's degree in 1962 and his master's degre ein 1971 from Northern.  While at Northern, he played on four conference basketball championship teams, was named an all-conference player his junior and senior year.  He held a one-game scoring record of 39 points. 

He was three times runner-up in the conference in singles tennis and won the doubles championships two years in a row.
