Northern State University Athletics

Maruice Bates came to Northern with his twin brother, Morris Bates.  Webster High School graduates both started with the Wolves' football team their freshman year and every game for the rest of their careers.  Maurice is the manager of the National Federation of Independent Businesses in Shelby, North Carolina.
