Landmark set seven program records while at Northern. Records that have stood at NSU for nearly 25 years. He started 43 consecutive games with a team record of 31-12 during his career.

Landmark's records include career touchdown passes (67), offensive plays (1,827), total yards of offense (9,966), completions (831) and pass attempts (1,555). He was named First Team All-Conference in 1988 and 1989, as well as the NSIC MVP (89). In addition, Landmark was honored by the Don Hansen National Weekly Football Gazette's as the Most Valuable Player in 1989 following his senior season for the Wolves.

The Sisseton native grabbed multiple All-American honors being named to the Don Hansen and NAIA teams in both 1988 and 1989. He was inducted into the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Hall of Fame in 2014.

Landmark married his high school sweetheart, Kari in 1988 and together they have three children, Brittney, Eric and Megan. Jason and his family currently reside in Oregon, where he serves as the President of the Oregon Tool – Forestry, Lawn & Garden business area.
