Northern State Athletics Hall of Fame
Scott received his B.S. in Education in 1982 and his Masters in Education in 1988. He participated in basketball and baseball at Northern receiving numerous conference, district and regional awards.
Scott was selected to the NIC all conference basketball team three consecutive years (1979-80, 80-81, 81-82), receiving first team all conference recognition as a senior. He was also an All District (12) first team member and was selected to the all South Dakota Collegiate Team his senior year. Scott was a two time team captain, leading Northern’s 1980-81 team to the District (12) Independent Tournament Championship.
