Northern State Athletics Hall of Fame
Chris Lund was an NAIA all-American wrestler for the Wolves during his career at Northern State from 1979-83. Lund finished his career with nearly 901 wins, 60 of which were by fall. As a senior, he became the first Northern wrestler to win an individual championship in the Northern Intercollegiate Conference. A four-time national qualifier and two-time team captain on the mat, Lund was also a standout on the football field, earning three all-NIC honorable mention honors during his career.
Lund earned his bachelor's in education in 1984.He finished his master's in Educational Administration in 1989. Lund coahed football for nine years and wrestling for two years in Doland.
