Northern State Athletics Hall of Fame
Cornelius Kelleher attended Northern State College for two years, receiving his bachelor of science degree in education in 1938. While at Northern, Kelleher played both football and basketball. He was named to the All-Conference football and basketball teams for 1937-1938. He was also crowned Gypsy Day Marchal in 1937.Â
Kelleher is a member of the American Society of Chartered Life Underwriters, life member of the Million Dollar Round Table, has received the National Quality Award for 27 consecutive years, a member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus, was president of the Billings, Mont., and Montana Life Underwriters Association, president of the Billings Lions Club in 1949, and president of the Santa Clara, Calif., Father Jonidero Serra Club.
Kelleher married Frances B. Olsen and they have five children and six grandchildren.
