Northern State University Athletics

Larry Kolbo was a two-sport athlete at Northern State, excelling in football and wrestling from 1974-77.  As a defensive captain for the football team, Kolbo earned all-district and Kodak All-American honors.  He helped the 1976 edition of Wolves football finish 8-3 and receive national attention. 

As a wrestler at 190 pounds, Kolbo competed from 1974-76, earning two trips to the national tournament.  He won his weight class at the St. John's Invitational in 1975. 

Kolbo and his wife, Margo, are the parents of three children.
