Chuck received his B.S. in Education from Northern in 1969. Another two sport athlete, he wrestled and played football for the Wolves. Chuck was known as a tremendous competitor, wrestling at the upper weight classes and playing defensive end.
 
Chuck’s achievements in wrestling include winning a conference champion at 191 pounds and helping the Wolves win a conference title. In football, Chuck was a team captain and part of three conference championship teams, which included an undefeated regular season and a NAIA national playoff game. He was named to the District 12 All-Defensive team as both a junior and senior.
 
Chuck served in the US Marine Corps from 1969 to 1975, attaining the rank of captain. Keeler continued his football playing days in the Marine Corps prior to being deployed overseas. He has been working with the BNSF railroad since 1978, serving in several capacities in ten different cities around the Midwest and west coast and is currently the terminal manager in Minneapolis, Minn. 
 
Chuck has been married to his wife, Barbara, since 1968. They have three children and four grandchildren.
