Mike Carda earned a B.S. in business management in 1989. He came to NSU as a four year starter and letter winner in high school football, basketball and track. As a member of the NSU football team, Mike led the wolves in rushing for four years and held the record for most career catches. He scored five touchdowns in one game and served as captain of

the 1988 team. An All-Conference player in 1987-88, Carda was a member of the team that made it to the NAIA playoffs in 1988. Mike married NSU alum Charlotte (Gelhaus) in 1990 who teaches and coaches in Huron. They have a daughter, Emily (18) and son, Brandon (16).
