Northern State University Athletics

Rich Voegeli graduated from NSU in 1989 with a degree in Industrial Technology Education. Voegeli wrestled for the Wolves during his time at NSU. He became the first Wolves wrestler to be named Academic All-American by the NAIA in 1989. He qualified for the national tournament in 1988 and 1989. He took 7^th his senior year, garnering All-American honors. The Ellendale, ND native was also named the NWCA Scholar Athlete in 1989. On top of wrestling, Voegeli was also involved in Industrial Ed and Tech club on campus.
