Northern State University Athletics

Blaine McCance graduated from Northern State in 1986 with a degree in accounting. The Gregory, SD native wrestled for the Wolves for three seasons. During the 1983-84 season he took the NIC and District 12 title at 190 pounds. He also recorded 30 wins on the season and qualified for the national tournament. During the 1984-85 season, he successfully defended his NIC title and recorded another 30 win season. He qualified for the national tournament where he placed 2^nd, earning him All-American honors. McCance was also a member of the business club on campus.
