Dave Pastian graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 1972 and had several achievements in NSU Football and Track. From 1968-1971, he won titles both as an individual player and in team competition. In Football, Pastian was Northern State University All-Conference Football running back, plus he went All-District, All-American and set a season record for rushing. He also helped the Wolves become Conference Champions from 1968-71 and was in the National Championship for both 1969 and 1971. In track, he set school records in the 440, 880 and 1600-yard relays, as well as 100, 220 and 440- yard dash in 1970.
