Northern State University Athletics

Kelsey Chambers competed for the Northern State Wolves volleyball team from 2012-2015. She graduated from Northern in 2016 with a degree in Special Education. The Jordan, MN native was an outside hitter for the volleyball team at NSU. She received several honors throughout her seasons with the Wolves. In 2013 she made history by becoming Northern State volleyball’s first All-American.

Led the Wolves in kills with 416, averaging 4.12 per set… Tallied 289 digs, 13 service aces, 26 blocks and 18 assists… Third straight year leading NSU in total kills… Named to the NSIC All-Conference first team… Named D2CCA All-American second team…

Named Preseason NSIC Player of the Year... Started 109 sets and 29 matches for the Wolves… Tallied 404 kills, 12 assists, nine service aces, 277 digs, and 44 blocks… Recorded a season high 26 kills versus Minnesota Crookston and 18 digs versus Upper Iowa… Averaged 3.71 kills per set and held an attack percentage of .272… Led the team in kills, and kills per set… Third on the team in digs… Named to the NSIC All-Conference first team…

Third Team AVCA All-American selection (first All-American in program history) … AVCA All-Region team … Second Team CoSIDA/Daktronics All-Region … First Team All-NSIC selection … Chambers was third in the league in kills with 4.32 per set … third in the NSIC in points per set with 4.71 … her .311 attack percentage ranked 10th in the conference … recorded seven double-doubles on the season … her 2.50 digs per set ranked second on the team … also had 53 total blocks and 12 service aces … led the Wolves in kills and hitting percentage and was second in double-doubles and digs … started in all 30 matches for Northern … set a career-high with 23 kills twice in 2013 … named NSIC Hitter of the Week on October 21
