Hannah Kastigar is a a 8-time NCAA All-American and 3-time NCAA National Champion for the Northern State University swim team. She earned the first All-American honors of her career in 2017, in addition to two National Championships. In her final season with the Wolves, Kastigar continued to rake in the All-American accolades and National Championship crowns. A full list of her awards is below.

Northern State Bio:
2018-19: Kastigar finished her senior season with multiple NSIC championships and one NCAA championship… At the NSIC Championships, she won the 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 butterfly, and a second place finish in the 200 breaststroke… Hannah swam in four events at the NCAA national meet; 200 breast, 200 fly, 400 IM, 200 IM… She finished second place in the 200 IM and 200 fly with times of 1:58.85 and 1.59.78 respectively… She is the national champion in the 400 IM with a time of 4:11.15 and third place in the 200 breast… She broke school records in 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 400 IM, and part of the 200 freestyle relay…

2016-17: Captured 13 NSU swimming records in her first season with the program, including the 200 free (1:51.14), 1,000 free (10:33.28), 50 back (26.67), 50 breast (30.16), 100 breast (1:02.69), 50 fly (26.13), 100 fly (54.27), 200 fly (1:58.14), 100 IM (58.22), 200 IM (1:59.05), 400 IM (4:12.99), as well as the 400 medley relay (3:53.47) 400 free relay (3:31.84) and 800 free relay (7:34.10)... Was awarded NSIC Swimmer of the Week eight times... Crowned NSIC Newcomer of the Year and NSIC Swimmer of the year... Finished out the year as a four-time All-American with a third place finish in the 200 yard IM, a seventh place finish in the 100 yard butterfly and a pair of first place titles in the 400 yard IM and the 200 yard butterfly...

Pre-NSU: Hannah Kastigar swimmer from Aberdeen, SD who previously swam collegiately for Grand Canyon University. She spent two successful seasons with the Lopes where she was named WAC freshman of the year in 2014 and added NCAA Division I swimmer of the week honors, WAC swimmer of the week honors, WAC female swimmer of the year, and was a 2-time GCU athlete of the year nominee. She holds Lopes school records in the 400 IM, 200 IM, 200 fly, 200 breast, and 100 breast. She was also a WAC champion in the 200 IM, 200 fly, and 2-time champion in the 400 IM. She is the daughter of Joe and Elyce Kastigar.
