Mike Wiley wrestled for the Wolves for two seasons. In 1986 he took the NIC title at 118 pounds and helped the Wolves defend their District 12 title by taking the title in his weight class. He qualified for the national tournament where he placed 6^th to garner All-American honors. By the end of the season he had compiled a record of 23-1. During the 1987 season he successfully defended his NIC and District 12 title and qualified for the national tournament.
