Northern State University Athletics

Leon Breske was a defensive end on the 1969-72 Wolves Football teams.  The three-year letter winner was an All-American Honorable Mention selection as a senior and named team Most Valuable Defensive player.  His final season also included a National Player of the Week award as well as All-Conference and All-District team honors.  During Breske's career, the Wolves compiled a 30-6-1 record and captured four South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference Championships. Breske graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor's degree in Education.
