Deshonn Brown placed 11th in the high jump at the NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field Championships for the season of 2016-2017. Brown jumped 2.02m to earn his first All-American accomplishment of his career. 

2015-2016: Participated in both the jumps and multi events for the Wolves… Won the high jump at the NSIC Indoor Multis with a 2.02m mark… Won the high jump at the MIAA/NSIC Showdown… Won the high jump at the NSU Twilight with a personal best 2.03m mark… Tallied 27 top-10 finishes in both the indoor and outdoor season… Recorded personal indoor bests in the 60m dash (7.92), 1000m (3:14.10), 60m hurdles (9.08), pole vault (2.90m), shot put (7.88m) and heptathlon (3934)… Notched outdoor personal bests in the high jump (2.03m), long jump (6.13m), and javelin (33.57m).
