Northern State University Athletics

Chris Lund was an NAIA All-American wrestler for the Wolves during his career at Northern State from 1979-83.  Lund finished his career with nearly 901 wins, 60 of which were by fall.  As a senior, he became the first Northern wrestler to win an individual Championship in the Northern Intercollegiate Conference.  A four-time national qualifier and two-time team captain on the mat, Lund was also a standout on the football field, earning three all-NIC honorable mention honors during his career.
Lund earned his Bachelor's in Education in 1984. He finished his Masters in Educational Administration in 1989.
