Kevin Ratzsch was a basketball player out of Bloomington, IL. He played 4 successful seasons with the Wolves after redshirting his freshman year. After graduating from Northern in 2009, he played for several international basketball teams in Australia, Ireland, and Spain.

2008-09: Played in and started all 30 games of the season for the Wolves... Named the NSIC and Daktronics Central Region Player of the Year after picking up the conference's preseason award in October... Also picked up a 1st Team (Division II Bulletin) and two 2nd Team (Basketball Times and Daktronics) All-America accolades... Also selected to play in the NABC All-Star Game held in conjunction with the NCAA Division II Elite Eight tournament... Led the team and the conference in scoring, averaging 20.5 points per game... Also ranked sixth in the NSIC in rebounding (7.4 per game) and third in free throw percentage (89.1 percent)... In in the conference games only statistics, Ratzsch finished the season ranked first in scoring (20.9 ppg), tied for first in free throw percentage (89.4 percent) and tied for fourth in rebounding (7.7 rpg)... Led the Wolves in steals (35) and was second in blocked shots (59)... Scored 615 points on the year to finish with 1,852 career points, eighth most in NSU history... Scored 417 points in conference contests, just shy of the NSIC record of 420... Scored 1,117 career points in conference games, which ranks fourth in the NSIC record book.

2007-08: Had another successful season for the Wolves, ranking fourth in the league with a team high 16.8 ppg (555 pts) ... played in every game of the season, scoring in double figures in all but two games ... reached the 20+ point barrier 13 times on the year ... reached 1,000 career points on January 19 ... was second on the team with 5.7 rebounds

per game (8th in NSIC) ... ranked second in the league with a 48.4% three-point mark, hitting 62-of-128 long range shots ... also had 46 assists and a team high 33 steals on the year ... named to the All-NSIC First Team ... made the North Central All-Region Tournament Team ..
