Hanneke Oosterwegel is a decorated hurdler and sprinter out of Diepenveen, Netherlands. A Silver medalist at the Dutch National Junior Championships in the 400m hurdles in 2013, and at the indoor Dutch National Championships in the 200m dash in 2015. She capped of a stellar sophomore season for the Northern State Wolves in 2017 with the first All-American honors of her career in the 400m hurdles. The Netherlands native finished as the National Runner-up in the event with a school record time of 58.07. Hanneke just finished a successful junior campaign with another All-American honor at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. She finished in third overall with a time of 59.32.

Oosterwegel added the third and final All-American honor of her career in 2019 taking fourth in the 400m hurdles. She tallied a time of 1:00.29.

2017-18: Competed in the 60m, 60H, 100m, 100H, 200m, 400m, 400H, 4x100m and 4x400m relays for the Wolves… Recorded season bests of 7.78 in the 60m, 8.71m in the 60H, 12.22 in the 100m, 14.39 in the 100H, 24.66 in the 200m, 55.86 in the 400m, and 59.28 in the 400H… Tallied 25 top ten finishes and six first place finishes on the season… Placed third in the 400H at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships… Took first in the 100H and 400H at the Alex Francis Classic College Division… Placed first in the 400m at the Bison Open and the NSIC Track and Field Indoor Championships…
 
2016-17: Broke ten school records as a sophomore… Notched personal bests in the 60m (7.79), 100m (11.90), 200m (24.52), 400m (55.53), 60m hurdles (8.85), 100m hurdles (13.99), 400m hurdles (58.07), and javelin (24.68m)… Grabbed indoor school records in the 60m (7.79), 200m (24.53), 400m (55.53), and 60m hurdles (8.85)… Added outdoor school records in the 400m hurdles (58.79), 100m hurdles (13.99), 100m (11.75), 4x100m relay (47.44), 4x200m relay (1:42.39), and 4x400m relay (3:54.07)… Won the 60m hurdles and 60m dash at the Cobber Duals… Won the 200m and 400m at the indoor Bison Open… Won the 400m at the Nebraska Tune-up… Crowned the NSIC Indoor Champion in the 400m… Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 200m and 400m, ranked 19th and fifth… Finished 15th in both the 200m and 400m at the NCAA Indoor Championships… Won the 400m hurdles at the NSIC vs. MIAA Showdown and Bryan Clay Invite… Won the 200m dash at the Cal State LA Twilight… Won the 100m dash at the NDSU Tune-up… Crowned the NSIC Champion in the 400m hurdles… qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships ranked fifth in the 400m hurdles and 21st in the 100m dash… Named USTFCCA All-Region… Earned All-American honors as the National Runner-up in the 400m hurdles...
 
2015-16: Competed in the sprint and hurdle events for the Wolves… Tallied 32 top-10 finishes as a true freshman… Won the 400m at the Cobber Duals and the 400m hurdles at the NSU Twilight… Was a member of the winning 4x100m and 4x400m relays at the NSU Twilight… Broke the school record in the 400m hurdles twice, with a time of 1:01.35… Hit an NCAA national provisional mark in the 400m hurdles with the 32nd fastest time in the nation… Recorded personal bests in the indoor 400m (58.23) and 60m hurdles (9.37), and outdoor bests in the 200m (25.11) and 400m hurdles (1:01.35)…
