Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University track and field teams travel to Brookings this Friday and Saturday, February 9^th and 10^th to compete in the SDSU D2 Classic in the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex. Friday's events will start at 4:00 p.m. and Saturday's events will begin with both running and field events at 11:00 a.m. Wolves only have two regular season meets left before the NSIC Indoor Championships on February 23^rd and 24^th.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• The Wolves competed at the Bison Open last weekend in Fargo
• Men placed fourth and the women took ninth
• Sam Tremelling placed first in pole vault and his mark of 5.06m has placed him tenth in the nation

  • In the 60m dash Chris Weber and Noah Bayer are ranked 15^th and 18^th
  •  Bayer is ranked 21^st in the 200m
  • Seth Martens, Drew Salfrank, Drew Henriksen, and Carter Dingman are placed 7^th, 12^th, 20^th, and 22^nd in 400m
  • Dylan Shimke is 5^th, Carter Dingman 13^th, Drew Henriksen 16^th, and Turner Thorson 23^rd in the 600m
