Indianapolis – The NCAA released the 2026 National Championship qualifiers today for the outdoor season with four Northern State University student-athletes selected. The 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place May 21-23 at Francis G. Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas.
Selections for the Wolves include
Renea Taylor in the 400m hurdles,
Romane Maugest in the pole vault,
Jayden Munroe in the long jump, and
Levi Reis in the javelin. Maugest and Reis will make their NCAA debuts.
Munroe will kick-off the meet for the Wolves at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. He enters his second championships of the year ranked sixth in the long jump with his mark of 7.62m.
Maugest opens her first championships at 3 p.m. on Thursday. She enters the championships with the 13th best mark in the nation, a vault of 4.03m.
Taylor will take on the prelims of the 400m hurdles at 7:40 p.m. on Thursday, with the finals scheduled for 5:50 p.m. on Saturday. She enters the championships with a time of 59.05 in the event, ranking 11th in the country.
Reis opens Saturday for the Wolves at 12:00 p.m. in the first event of the day. He ranks 22nd heading into the championships with his school record mark of 66.27m.
