2025-26: Competed in 14 meets for the Wolves… Recorded a personal best in the high jump (1.69m)… Won the high jump against Jamestown, at the Dewey Donat Classic, and at the Mount Marty Twilight… Added runner-up finishes in the high jump at the NSIC Indoor Championship and NSIC Outdoor Championship and a third-place finish in the high jump at the South Dakota Challenge… Recorded additional top-10 finishes in the high jump at the SDSU Holiday Open, U-Mary Winter Classic, SDSU Indoor Classic, UND Open, and USD Snooze Button Classic… Tallied 12 top-10 finishes on the season… Scored team points by taking second in the high jump at the NSIC Indoor Championship and second in the high jump at the NSIC Outdoor Championship… Earned All-NSIC honors in the high jump during the indoor and outdoor seasons… Earned NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors…

2024-25: Competed in 15 meets for the Wolves… Recorded personal bests of 1.67m in the high jump and 2926 in the pentathlon… Won the high jump at the Jamestown Dual… Notched 18 top-10 finishes on the year… Honored NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…

2023-24: Competed in 12 meets for the Wolves… Recorded personal bests in the 800m (2:59.12), long jump (5.12m), shot put (9.05), high jump (1.56), javelin (28.01m), 200m (28.53), 100m hurdles (15.80), and heptathlon (3,853)…

Prep: Tayla Dobrenski is a multi-event competitor out of Brookings High School. She is a 3-year letter winner and team captain for the Bobcats under the direction of head coach Jason Sebern. Dobrenski is a 3-time state placer taking third in the high jump (2022), seventh in the 100m hurdles (2021) and eighth in the 100m hurdles (2022). In addition, she was the ESD Conference Champion in the 100m hurdles in 2022. Dobrenski holds personal bests of 15.40 in the 100m hurdles and 5'2" in the high jump. She is the daughter of Tammy and Darin Dobrenski.
