2025-26: Competed in 15 meets for the Wolves… Recorded a career personal best in the 400m (47.54)… Won the 400m at the SDSU Holiday Open, Northern State v. Jamestown Dual, and U-Mary Winter Classic… Added runner-up finishes in the 400m at the SDSU Last Chance and Dewey Donat Classic, the 4x100 relay at the Dewey Donat Classic, and the 4x400 relay at the UND Open… Recorded third-place finishes in the 4x400 relay at the SDSU Holiday Open, the 400m and 4x100 relay at the South Dakota Challenge, and fourth-place finishes in the 400m at the UND Open and USD Snooze Button Classic and in the 4x100 relay at the Mount Marty Twilight… Tallied 22 top-10 finishes on the season… Scored team points by placing fourth in the 400m, running on the NSIC Champion 4x400 relay team, and the NSIC runner-up 4x100 relay team at the NSIC Outdoor Championship, as well as placing seventh in the 400m at the NSIC Indoor Championship…Earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors…
2024-25: Competed in 16 meets for the Wolves… Recorded personal bests of 34.93 in the 300m, 47.91 in the 400m, 10.80 in the 100m, and 22.38 in the 200m… Won the 4x400m at the Mike Thorson Open and 4x100m at the Mount Marty Twilight… Notched 24 top-10 finishes on the year… Scored team points by taking third in the 4x400m and seventh in the 400m at the NSIC Indoor Championship… Member of the school record breaking and NCAA provisional mark 4x400m indoor relay (3:15.81)… Honored NSIC All-Academic Team…
2023-24: Competed in 16 meets for the Wolves… Record personal bests in the 60m (7.22), 200m (22.57), 400m (48.22), and 100m (11.05)… Took fourth as a member of the 4x400m relay and seventh in the 400m at the NSIC Indoor Championships… Place third as a member of the 4x400m relay and sixth in the 400m at the NSIC Outdoor Championships… Member of the school record breaking 4x400m indoor relay (3:19.23)…
Prep: Drew Salfrank is a sprinter out of Aberdeen Central High School. He is a 2-year letter winner for the Golden Eagles under the direction of head coach Greg Murley. Salfrank is a 2-time all-conference honoree and 2022 all-state selection, placing fourth in the 400m. In addition, he is a member of the 4x400m (3:24.26) and sprint medley (3:33.96) school records at CHS. He holds personal bests of 50.14 in the 400m and 23.11 in the 200m. He is the son of Jim and Christen Salfrank.
