Season & Career Bests

2025-26: Competed in 15 meets for the Wolves… Recorded a personal best in the pole vault (3.96m)… Won the pole vault at the SDSU Holiday Open, Northern State v. Jamestown Dual, NSIC Indoor Championship, and Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational… Added runner-up finishes at the U-Mary Winter Classic, UND Open, Husker Invitational, SDSU Last Chance, and USD Snooze Button Classic, along with a third-place finish at the Dewey Donat Classic and fourth-place finish at the South Dakota Challenge… Recorded top-10 finishes at every meet in which she competed during the regular season… Tallied 14 top-10 finishes on the season… Scored team points by winning the pole vault at the NSIC Indoor Championship and taking fifth in the pole vault at the NSIC Outdoor Championship… Qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in the pole vault and placed 15th nationally… Earned the NSIC Indoor pole vault championship with a season-best clearance of 3.96m… Named Army National Guard Athlete of the Week and NSIC Women's Field Athlete of the Week… Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors and NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors…

2024-25: Competed in 16 meets for the Wolves… Recorded a personal best of 3.75m in the pole vault… Won the pole vault at the SD Mines Dual, Jamestown Dual, and SDSU D2/NAIA Open… Notched 14 top-10 finishes on the year… Scored team points by taking fourth in the pole vault at the NSIC Indoor Championship and at the NSIC Outdoor Championship… Hit the NCAA provisional mark in the pole vault (3.75m)… Honored NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…  

2023-24: Competed in 11 meets for the Wolves… Notched a personal best of 3.63m in the pole vault… Took fourth in the pole vault at the NSIC Indoor Championships… Placed fifth in the pole vault at the NSIC Outdoor Championships…

Prep: Rebekah Walz is a pole vaulter out of Paynesville Area High School. She is a 4-year letter winner for the Bulldogs under the direction of head coach Colin Wolf. Walz is a 3-time champion in the pole vault winning the True Team State event, Section 5A meet, and Section 5A Sub-Section 20 meet in 2021. In addition, she placed sixth at the Minnesota State Meet and is an academic all-state honoree. Walz holds a personal best of 10-7 in the pole vault. She placed seventh at the 2023 Minnesota State meet. She is the daughter of Ron and Rachel Walz.
