NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • Northern State track and field closes their season in Emporia, Kansas as four individuals compete in the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships
  • Levi Reis, Jayden Munroe, Renea Taylor, and Romane Maugest will represent the Wolves at nationals
  • Standing at sixth in the men's long jump ahead of the championship is Munroe with a 7.62m seed mark; he is coming off a 7.42m third place showing at the NSIC Outdoor Championships
  • A seed time of 59.05 puts Taylor in 11th in the women's 400m hurdles event; this time was set at the South Dakota Challenge and marked a new personal best for Taylor
  • At 13th in the women's pole vault standings with a seed mark of 4.03m is Maugest; she took first place and set a personal best in the event at the Dewey Donat Classic
  • Reis with a seed mark of 66.27m comes in at 22nd in the men's javelin throw heading into the competition; this mark came at the Drake Relays and set a new program record by 2.03m
