Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University track and field teams travel to Brookings this Friday February 16^th to compete in the SDSU Last Chance Meet in the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.
Field events will start at 3:30 p.m. and running events will start with the 60m hurdle prelims at 4:00 p.m. This is the last regular season meet for the Wolves

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• The Wolves competed at the SDSU Classic last weekend in Brookings
• Megan Pickering broke the mile record
• The 4x400m relay with athletes Drew Salfrank, Carter Dingman, Joel Matehs, and Seth Martens broke the school record
• Personal records were broken by 28 athletes last week

 
CONFERENCE RANKINGS
 

• Men
  • In the 60m dash Chris Weber and Noah Bayer are ranked 11^th and 18^th
  •  Bayer is ranked 22^nd  in the 200m
  • Drew Salfrank, Seth Martens, Drew Henriksen, and Carter Dingman are placed 6^th, 9^th, 23^rd, and 25^th in 400m
  • Dylan Shimke is 5^th, Carter Dingman 14^th, Drew Henriksen 17^th, and Turner Thorson 22^nd in the 600m
  • The 800m has Dylan Schimke, Dalton Fleckenstein, and Ricky Berndt ranked 14^th, 23^rd, and 27^th respectively
  • Josh Martin, Ricky Berndt, Jonathon Burkhalter, and Dalton Fleckenstien are placed 14^th, 15^th, 21^st, 22^nd and  in the 1000m race

  • Joel Matehs, Birnir Vagn Finnsson, Eli Radke, and Isaac Ligon are placed 8^th, 16^th, 23^rd, and 26^th in the 60m hurdles
  • Vance Borcher, Finnsson, Carter Moller, Sean Juengst are 12^th, 17^th, 20^th, and 26^th in the high jump
