Brookings, S.D. – Northern State University track and field had a small group of athletes compete in day one of the SDSU Classic meet. Events the Wolves competed in included the 3000m, 5000m, and pole vault.
 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
 

• Nathan Alto was 18^th in the 5000m in a time of 15:05.39
• Evan Halbe and Jacob Angerhofer took 30^th and 34^th in the 5000m with times of 15:37.53 and 15:48.65; Chase Smith and Taylor Thorson placed 58^th and 62^nd in 16:49.60 and 17:05.06
• Sam Tremelling took fourth in the pole vault event with a height of 4.75m
• Noah Ford, Birnir Vagn Finnsson, and Sean Juengst placed 12^th, 15^th, and 20^th with marks of 4.15m, 4.00m, and 3.70m in pole vault

 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
 

• Megan Pickering took eighth in the 3000m distance race crossing the finish line in 10:15.98
• Adisen Stadem was 45^th in the 3000m with a time of 11:32.73
• The 5000m was run by Jenna Helms in a time of 20:06.20 for a 47^th place finish
• Bekah Walz and Gracie Eisenbraun placed third and tenth in pole vault with marks of 3.15m and 3.00m
