Bismarck, N.D. – The Northern State University swim team tallied their highest individual finish on Friday from the NSIC Championships. Seven Wolves advanced to finals, in addition to two relays in competition. Heading into the final day from Bismarck, Northern sits 46 points ahead of eighth place Southwest Minnesota State.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Delaney Ryken opened the day three finals session taking 16th in the 500 free with a time of 5:20.35
- Hannah Kiernan followed in 24th, hitting the wall at 5:27.37
- Emma Murdock added a 24th place finish of her own in the 100 back with a time of 1:01.20
- Shayna Asuncion landed in the 'b' final of the 100 breast, taking 13th overall with a time of 1:08.15
- Lauren Forsyth recorded the top Northern State finish of the meet, taking fourth in the 200 fly with a time of 2:08.67; she was just .41 seconds off a third place finish and all-conference performance
- Lexie Malimanek and Marialuisa Avila followed in the event, taking 21st and 22nd with times of 2:21.05 and 2:22.19 respectively
- The 800 free relay team of Ryken, Kristen Collingwood, Connor Doran, and Josie Gillund tallied the top relay finish of the meet, taking ninth with a time of 7:53.15
- The squad of Forsyth, Kiernan, Megan Pattee, and Murdock added a 14th place finish, hitting the wall at 8:12.06
