FLOCKHART EARNS 23RD IN FINAL DIVE OF SEASON

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Jacie Flockhart placed one position away from qualifying for the national championships, as she took 23rd in the one-meter dive with a score of 195.20.
Throughout the season, Flockhart was one of Northern State's top athletes on the swimming and diving team, earning multiple first-place finishes and NSIC Diver of the Week honors.
The Bonne, Iowa native originally qualified for nationals back in October when she met both the six- and 11-dive requirements at the Marauder Invite and the Knight Invite.
Of the NSIC competitors, Flockhart took third, beating both St. Cloud State's Karlie Woodall (191.35), who took 28th, and Minnesota State Moorhead's Zoe Bjerke (188.65), who took 29th.
Avery Lommel, Augustana's swimmer who took first at the conference championships in both the one- and three-meter diving events back in February, finished in third with a score of 249.60, while Minnesota State's Natalie Freeman scored a 219.80 for 13th.
