Aberdeen, S.D. –The Northern State University track and field teams will compete at the University of Jamestown in the Al Cassell Classic meet on Friday, April 12^th. Field events begin at 12:00 p.m. and running events start at 1:45 p.m.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Last week the Wolves competed at the USD Early Bird Invite
• Levi Reis broke a 13 year old school record in the javelin throw by 2 meters that was previously held by Jon Evenson; he also hit the provisional mark which ranks him 19^th in the nation
• Carson Barnett also hit the provisional mark last week in javelin ranking him 36^th in the nation
• Cassidy Gough hit the provisional mark in the hammer throw ranking her 14^th in the nation
• Northern state men had 18 top-ten finishes which included Joel Matehs (400m and 110m hurdles), Drew Salfrank (400m), Seth Martens (400m), Nathan Alto (5,000m), Evan Halbe (10,000m), Jacob Angerhofer (10,000m), Taylor Thorson (10,000m), Nick Olson (hammer throw) Birnir Vagn Finnsson (high jump), Vance Borchers (high jump), Levi Reis (javelin), Carson Barnett (javelin), Damon Roggenbuck (javelin), Noah Ford (pole vault), Eli Radtke (pole vault), the 4x100m relay, and the 4x400m relay
• Northern state women had 10 top-ten finishes which included Morgan Sheldon (heptathlon), Addison Cumbow (heptathlon), Renea Taylor (100m), Kyanna Collymore (400m), Summer Carlson (800m), Megan Pickering (5,000m), Jenna Helms (10,000m), Cassidy Gough (hammer throw and javelin), and the 4x400m relay
