Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University track and field teams will take on the SDSU Last Chance meet tomorrow from Brookings. Competition kicks off at 3:30 p.m. with the field events, as the Wolves look to sharpen their marks and times heading into the NSIC Championships. The top-30 (top-24 in the 200m and 400m) in each event will qualify for NSIC Championships competition.
 
QUICK HITS ON THE NORTHERN STATE WOLVES

• The Wolves took fifth (men) and seventh (women) from the NSIC Indoor Challenge, hosted by Minnesota State last weekend
• Northern tallied two event victories in Mankato
• Riccardo Done tallied the first race victory, winning the 3000m run with a time of 8:46.32
• The 4x400m relay team of Devin Sheridan, Kelson Brewer, Tafara Hondonga, and Isaiha Fletcher won the event, crossing the finish line in 3:21.30
• Tanner Berg competed from the USATF Indoor Championships, taking 11^th overall in the weight throw

• Kealy Hill ranks tenth nationally in the pole vault with her school record mark of 3.96m from the NDSU Bison Open
• Jordan Menken ranks 29th in the nation in the shot put with a 14.11m throw versus Jamestown
• Bryce Malsam ranks 33rd in the nation in the high jump clearing 2.04m at the Dakota Classic

SCHOOL RECORD WATCH

• Tanner Berg re-broke his own weight throw record at the DWU Alumni Open, with a 21.50m throw; the toss was also a meet record and is the top mark in NCAA Division II
• Isaiha Fletcher broke the 200m record by .03 seconds crossing the finish line at 22.08 at the SDSU Division II Invite
• Fletcher added his second record of the season at the NDSU Bison Open, notching a time of 34.92 in the 300m dash
