Season and Career Bests

Prep: Sonia Alaman is a 5-foot-8, high jumper out of Madrid Spain and Montessori School Mataespesa. Alaman competed for six years with the Agrupacion Deportiva Marathon. She tallied numerous top-3 finishes in competitions throughout Spain, including a first place finish at the Madrid Championships in 2016. She holds personal bests of 5’6” in the high jump, 35’08” in the triple jump, and 15.59 in the 100m hurdles. Alaman is also involved in numerous charities and plays both basketball and volleyball. She is the daughter of Adolfo Alaman and Susan Hernando.
