Northern State University Athletics

Prep: Sether, a 2011 graduate of Century High School in Bismarck, was also a three-sport athlete for the Patriots, qualifying for the state meets in cross country, track and field, and swimming.  A four-year member of the CHS cross country team and a 3-time All-Western Dakota Association honoree, Sether earned All-State honors in cross country after finishing fifth at the state meet in 2009 and second in 2010.  His 2009 5K time of 15:52 ranks as the 15th best effort in CHS boys history since 1975.  Sether also finished 27th at the 2010 Nike Cross National Championship race, and was named as the 2010 WDA Senior of the Year.  Sether also qualified for the state track meets in 2009 and 2010 and competed in the state swimming competitions throughout his career, including a First Team All-State effort in 2011.
