Sophomore (Track): Focused on the 1000m run indoors with a season best 2:36.98 at NSIC Indoors…mainly ran the 3000m steeple chase outdoors with a personal best 10:10.15 at the Sioux City Relays.

Sophomore (XC): Red-Shirt

Freshman (Track): Capped off indoor season with a 4th place finish in the 1000m run at the NSIC Indoor Championships, where he was also member of the 4th place DMR team running the 800m leg. Member of Championship 4 x 800 team at the Sioux City Relays, splitting 1:59 for 800m.

Freshman (XC): Finished 28th at the NSIC Championships with an 8k PR of 27:09. Competed in 5 of 6 meets for the Wolves.

High School: 2 time cross country champion in Wyoming 3A division,  4 time track letter winner and 3 time cross country letter winner. 4x800meter relay state champion in 2005 while competing for  Custer South Dakota. Personal bests were 1:59 (800m), 4:34 (1600m), and 10:07 (3200).  Recognized as zone athlete of the week on three occassions as freshmen in track (2005) and in cross country (2006 and 2007). Also was all state academic in track and field.

Personal: Brock is the son of Dean and Tracy Rose…one of three children being the oldest…first, in his family to compete in collegiate athletics…biology major with a minor in chemistry planning on pursuing a career in nursing.
