Sioux Falls, S.D. – NSU baseball wrapped up their series against the Sioux Falls Cougars Sunday, March 22. The Wolves came back late after giving up the lead mid-game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The bats were hot early for the Wolves as they put up two runs in the first inning
- Out of the gate Dalton Kesti got on base with a double; Casey Vining brought him in with a homer to center field
- Innings went by until Sioux Falls got on the board, tying things up 2-2 in the fifth
- A Wolves three-up-three-down in the bottom of the fifth brought the Cougars back to the plate, they scored to take the lead 3-2
- Andrew Niaves got on first in the bottom of the seventh, he go to second on a Jake Weidner ground out; a two-out double from Kesti brought Niaves home to tie the game
- Northern took the lead in the bottom of the eighth when Mateo Tahsini crossed home on a Drew Benson double
- Ethan Price retired three of the four faced batters to end the game and secure the Wolves win
