Greensboro, N.C. - The American Baseball Coaches Association announced the 2025-26 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack Wednesday. This award recognizes ABCA member teams from all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. This marks 11-straight years of honors for the Northern State University baseball program.
 
Coaches were able to nominate their teams for the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award following the conclusion of their spring semesters prior to the nomination deadline of July 17th. To qualify, a program was required to meet the following criteria:

• Be a high school or college baseball program
• Have a head coach who is a current ABCA member
• Post a minimum cumulative team GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2025-26 academic year
