Biography

Prep: Palmer Boyd is a 6-foot-1, 160-pound pitcher out of Harrisburg High School. Boyd was a 3-year starter and team captain for the Tigers. As a junior he threw 37.0 innings with a 3.30 ERA, 2-1 record, and 39 strikeouts. Harrisburg won the Class A Legion Championship that season. He is the son of Aaron Boyd and Shannon Schaefer.
