MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – The Northern State baseball team finished their series against the St. Cloud Huskies Saturday. The first of the double header saw runs every inning while game 2 was a shutout through 5.

Records: NSU 0-4 (0-3 NSIC), SCSU
GAME ONE: NSU 8, SCSU 15
- The Wolves jumped ahead first in this high scoring matchup with two runs in the bottom of the first
- St. Cloud responded with a Wilmis Castro homer in the top of the second, followed by two more Huskies (Ibrahim and Konkol) crossing the plate to get SCSU the lead
- The Huskies extended their lead, tacking on a run in the top of the third and two scores in the top of the fourth
- Northern fought back with a Drew Benson home run to left field and a Jack Weidner score (Dillon Castellanos RBI)
- The Bottom of the fifth saw the Wolves get the game within one score with runs from Dylan Soulek and Andrew Niaves
- After a few Husky scores, Casey Vining and Soulek touched home in the eight to round out Northern's scoring
- Pulling away late, SCSU outscored NSU 8-2 in the final three innings to secure the conference series sweep

- After a high flying game one, the second game of the night saw no runs until the sizth inning
- The only three runs of the game were scored by the Huskies; one in the top of the sixth, two in the seventh
- Northern had four hits in the game and left five on base
