Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University men's basketball team fell to Minnesota Crookston Friday evening with less than a minute to play. Four Wolves scored double figures in the contest, however Northern struggled to capitalize off offensive rebounds and UMC turnovers.

- The Wolves led 48-44 at the half, however the Golden Eagles took the second by a score of 29-23 and sealed the victory
- Northern shot 39.0% from the floor, 35.7% from the 3-point line, and 65.2% from the foul line in the game
- They out-rebounded the Golden Eagles 44-42, tallying 11 offensive boards, and led the game with 16 assists, ten made 3-pointers, and seven steals
- NSU scored 24 points in the paint, eight points off turnovers, six points off the bench, and four second chance points
- James Glenn led the team with 23 points, knocking down 7-of-16 from the floor with five made 3-pointers
- Kwat Abdelkarim followed with 15 points and seven rebounds, shooting 50.0% from the floor
- Tobi Obiora notched a double-double, pulling down a career high 13 rebounds and adding 11 points
- Marcus Burks rounded out the double figure scorers with ten points, eight rebounds, and a team leading seven assists
