Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University men's basketball team battled on Saturday, sitting tied at the half with No. 12 Minot State. The Wolves ultimately fell to the Beavers in the contest despite a career high by Marcus Burks and Tobi Obiora's second straight double-double.

- Northern tallied 33 points in the first and 25 in the second, while Minot notched 33 in the first and 31 in the second

- They scored 40 points in the paint, a season high 16 second chance points, eight points off turnovers, and five points off the bench
- The Northern defense held Minot State to 6-of-21 from 3-point land and forced nine turnovers
