Biography

Prep: Marcus Burks is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound guard out of Lakeville South High School. He is a 2-year starter and team captain for the Cougars under the direction of head coach Joe Janquart. Burks averaged 12.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game last season. He was a first team South Suburban All-Conference selection and earned all-state accolades during the AAU season. Burks is a member of the Minnesota Select AAU program, averaging 16.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game. He is the son of Jennie and Tyrre Burks.
