Sioux Falls, S.D. – The Northern State University swimming team ended the first day of the USF Quad Dual with a 0-3 record, falling to Sioux Falls (151-50), MSU Moorhead (138-72), and Augustana (176-43). Full meet results will be posted when they become available.
WOLVES HIGHLIGHTS
- After a pair of relays, Brianna Back kicked off the individual events with a ninth place finish in the 200 free with a time of 2:05.95, followed by Mia Fursedonne with a time of 2:07.62 in tenth
- Guusje Van Lent raced to a third place finish in the 50 free hitting the wall at 24.48
- Next up was the 400 Fun IM, where Lilly Grebner added a fourth place finish with a time of 1:00.13
- She added a runner-up finish in the 100 fly with a time of 57.67
- Van Lent and Fursedonne recorded seventh and tenth place marks in the 100 free with times of 55.06 and 56.84 respectively
- Maddie Gonzales added a tenth place finish in the 100 back, hitting the wall in seventh with a time of 1:01.56, while Ali Jones tallied a tenth place in the 500 free with a time of 5:48.55
- The Wolves finished the night with a fourth place finish in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:41.05; relay members included Grebner, Tayla Liddle, Fursedonne, and Van Lent

Northern State returns to the pool tomorrow for day two from Sioux Falls. The meet kicks off at 10 a.m. from the Midco Aquatic Center.
